The Howard and Horace families announce with profound regret the homegoing of Honorable Wilmot Nekpo Howard Sr., our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. This sad event occurred on Thursday March 23, 2023, in Pawtucket, RI, USA.

The Hon. Wilmot Nekpo Howard Sr. was a former member of the House of Representatives for Grand Bassa County, Republic of Liberia. Former Vice Principal for administration of Bassa High School, and former President of Bassa High School Alumni Association, USA Inc. The late statesman was a graduate of the University of Libera class of 1982, and a 1976 graduate of the Bassa High School.

The late Hon. Wilmot Nekpo Howard Sr. was born on November 10, 1957, unto the union of Rev. Frank Mento Howard Sr., and Letetia Georgia Horace-Howard in the city of Edina, Grand Bassa County, Republic of Liberia.

The late Hon. Wilmot N. Howard Sr. was predeceased in death by his parents, Rev. Frank Mento Howard Sr., and Letetia Georgia Horace-Howard. Son, Togar Cawanah Howard. Siblings; James F. Howard Sr., and Mildred Howard Karpeh.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His children: Gheeto Wilma Howard Parker (Clay), Wilmot Nekpo Howard Jr. (Emmetta), Oretha Janjay Howard Wilson (James), Wiltu Monkonjay Franky Howard, Togar Emmanuel Howard, and Pana Eugenia Howard. Grandchildren: Wilmot Diamond Howard, Omari Emmett Howard, Nehemiah Mento Howard, Simeon Parker, Joshua Parker, Josiah Parker, Jamel Wilson, Janelle Wilson, Alexander Wilson, and D’Andre Yarkpawolo. Sibling: Frank A. Howard II (Ella). Nieces: Elvelina Howard Prince, Franky Riley, Letetia Howard, Johnetta Karpeh, Tanya Karpeh, and Evonne Howard Sarma. Nephews: Frank A. Howard III, and James F. Howard Jr. Cousins: Eva Smith(Roosevelt), Lillymae Karpeh(Advertus), Lydia Dorbor (Sam), Annette McCrumada, and Emmanuel McCrumada, a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
